We were invited to tender for a call-off contract to install Solar PV at 6 Lincolnshire and Nottingham based schools back in December of 2020, as the Trust had ever increasing electricity bills and they identified that Solar PV could help reduce these going forward.
The first 6 schools consisted of over 1.2MWp, which worked so well that we were then instructed on a further 15 schools in March 2022.
To date, the Trust has generated over 3.27GWh’s of Solar PV and will, in time, make the additional funds that would have gone towards electricity costs, go towards their 17,000 pupils across the Trust.
