Established in 2010, Amelio Solar Energy has installed over 20MWp of Solar PV. It has supported local homeowners, regional and national commercial and public sector organisations across the UK on their journey to optimum energy efficiency.
From its Lincolnshire base, Amelio Solar Energy is an award-winning business. Its expertise is in providing professional advice on the use of Solar PV and battery storage and using its own expert installation teams to deliver high quality systems.
Its passionate team helps commercial, public sector and homeowner clients embrace sustainable energy, reduce reliance on grid electricity and enjoy energy savings.

It demonstrates this commitment not only through the outcomes it delivers for clients, but also through its own operations. For example, its commitment to the energy efficiency of its building provides a blueprint for best practices for all those it serves. The main building has 13kWp of Solar PV and battery storage, with high efficiency lighting and far infra-red heating panels.
Our cars are fully electric and are charged from spare solar electricity from the solar array whenever possible.
The company also considers it important to support the community
Cash4Kids is our nominated charity, and we make a financial commitment to it each year as well as time of our staff – for example helping with delivering gifts for its Mission Christmas.
We also support Grimsby Community Energy and provide more strategic support to the community through being a member of the Local Enterprise Partnership Energy Council and the Lincoln Climate Commission, actively helping influence Local Government policies.
